Direct to Garment Printing

Printing directly to a garment via a special ink jet printer will not only save you time, and money, it will save the environment as well.

Do you have a small order that involves full color process? Than Direct to Garment Printing (DTG) is the way to go. DTG is extremely efficient. The process of printing full color, traditionally, can be rather complex. Using the DTG method you can simply send us any type of HI-RES photograph/artwork, we will than color correct the image, and send it directly to the printer in a digital format. Traditionally we would have to acquire a vector version of the artwork, and separate it on to several screens. This process can take over an hour to complete, depending on the complexity of the job. The screens are then sent over to the press to be prepared. There are several different factors when setting up to screen-print that are completely eliminated when using a DTG machine.

Since DTG has no screen set up, and no need to re-claim screens (cleaning), it makes more sense to choose DTG to help protect our environment. There are many harmful chemicals that go into making, and cleaning screens that are completely eliminated when using DTG Printing. Not only that, but the inks are all water based, unlike traditional plastic based screen-printing inks.
